Elisha Johnson is French Horn player from Memphis, TN. She is a music education major at the University of Central Arkansas, as well as a scholar in the Honors College. Elisha has studied with Dr. Brent Shires, Dr. Ellen Manthe, David Renfro, Steven Cohen, Tom Varner, Randy Gardner, and Dr. Randall Faust. She has been involved in many ensembles such as the Conway Symphony Orchestra, the UCA Wind Ensemble, the Bear Marching Band, the UCA Chamber Winds, and many others. Elisha recently received 2nd place in the 2020 MTNA Young Artist Competition. She has held multiple positions in Tau Beta Sigma, and is currently the President of the National Association of Music Education at UCA. When Elisha is not playing Horn, she enjoys cooking, styling natural hair, and watching her favorite shows!
